During this time of international pandemic, Squires Boys Basketball Education Foundation, Inc. advises ALL our players, coaches, and supporters to heed the warnings to protect yourself from being infected by the Sars-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19.

Everyone is stressed by the change in lifestyle that this global pandemic has caused. It has forced the suspension of Squires Boys Basketball Education Foundation, Inc.. When the whistle tip-off blows again, and it will, we want everyone to be alive and well to participate in another exciting year of Squires Boys Basketball Education Foundation, Inc.

Players are encouraged to maintain their training as best as they can while adhering to the recommended social distancing protocols of health professionals. Whether you have access to an isolated outdoor space or are limited to indoors, players should tailor a workout regimen that will maintain and build playing strength and endurance. Check YouTube for tips from professional trainers and or college and pro basketball players.

We also encourage our Players to maintain their academic excellence, completing assignments in accordance with teachers and schools online. It is a good time to do some EXTRA studying or explore subjects that will enhance your future career choices.

Coaches can also use the Squires Boys Basketball Education Foundation, Inc. downtime to sharpen your practice drills and game plans.

When Will We Tipoff?

We will keep you informed of any news that affects the re-start of Squires Boys Basketball Education Foundation, Inc.. Like the rest of the world, there is no concrete plan currently. We hope and pray that the doctors and researchers will find a viable solution to begin our normal activities. Until then, in the spirit of Squires Boys Basketball Education Foundation, Inc. , stay sharp, protect your health, help your family, stay in shape, study, and get ready for the NEXT Squires Boys Basketball Education Foundation, Inc. Season.

Over the past 30 plus years Squires Boys Basketball Education Foundation, Inc. has grown from an idea by Tony Squire to a successful recognized basketball program. As our participants know we use the discipline of basketball to teach self-confidence, motivation, and a quest for success. Those core principles of Squires Boys Basketball Education Foundation, Inc.  will continue.

To those players who will be moving on to the next level before we can restart, we wish you the best in the next part of your journey. Many of our players will be moving on to college and universities to continue their education. They will be challenged by academics as well as a new level of competitiveness on THE COURT. As Alumni of Squires Boys Basketball Education Foundation, Inc., we hope that each of our Players who are moving on to new challenges will be guided by what they learned both on and off the Court. Remember that basketball is one of your skills, education is your future.

Tony and the volunteer coaches at Squires Boys Basketball Education Foundation, Inc. will plan for a smooth transition into whatever “new normal” the future holds for competitive sports. All decisions regarding tryouts, team rosters, game and tournament scheduling will be guided by the health safety of our players and coaches first and foremost.

When it is safe to resume training, practicing, tryouts, and games for the next Squires Boys Basketball Education Foundation, Inc.  Season, we will use the guidance of the professional health community in all decisions.

We know that everyone is anxiously awaiting the next chapter in Squires Boys Basketball Education Foundation, Inc. and we are eager to announce when, and how it will happen. Just like every other school, business, organization and foundation, Squires Boys Basketball Education Foundation, Inc.  will have to grapple with the effects of being shut down.

We are not a small business, so we will not qualify for any grants being allocated by the government to reopen. Our program has always relied on the generosity of volunteers, sponsors, supporters, and fans and look forward to it continuing in the next season of Squires Boys Basketball Education Foundation, Inc. .
